Magical wand

Diagon Alley was a place of mystique and charm. There was so much to do and so much to buy and with all that money Harry was quite confused as to what he should buy first. There were Apothecary shop, Twilfits and Tattings and Madam Malkin’s every occasion robe shop, there was Flourish and Blotts the book shop and brooms and some shops to buy second hand stuff or cheap furniture. Hagrid insisted on sticking to the list so they bought all the items required and Harry bought a snowy white owl that he later named Errol.

The ne thing to which he was most looking forward to was buying a magical wand with which a witch or a wizard is able to channelize their magic. He entered a battered old shop named Ollivanders, the finest wand makers since 382 B.C. Mr. Ollivander recognized Harry at once and told him that it’s a wand that chooses the wizard not the other way round. Finally Harry bought the legendary wand, as Mr. Ollivander told him that his wand’s brother wand gave Harry his scar and Harry’s wand is also destined to greatness. Though the meeting with Mr. Ollivander freaked out Harry yet he was excited enough to go to Hogwarts and start a new life away from Dursleys.
